Wind-assisted ship propulsion device development project has been completed
Hidroteknik has conducted a development project for a new wind assisted ship propulsion system that utilizes active boundary layer suction. The project has been funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye and lasted 3 years.
Results show that thick wings with boundary suction may be a competitive alternative for currently available wind assisted ship propulsion tools in the market.
